Class B License
This course is offered year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. This training is designed to prepare graduates to become professional entry-level commercial truck (Class B) drivers. The Class B Commercial Driver's Course is a 40-hour program. The hours of training are from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The instructor to student ratio is one to one.
The field training consists of driving in training areas that include combinations of highway, city, and heavy traffic areas with a strong emphasis on defensive driving. After completion of the course, students are taken to the Department of Motor Vehicles for the Class B Commercial Driver's License skills and driving tests.

Rack sides or box is used for this training at the Sacramento Campus. This equipment fully complies with all Federal, State and Local regulations.

Available at all campuses throughout the Western Truck School system using existing equipment.
